ILM Level 7 Certificate and Diploma qualifications in Leadership Mentoring and Executive Coaching

Certificate and Diploma

Obtain formal, nationally recognised, qualifications in practical leadership coaching. These post graduate (Masters level) programmes are designed for CEOs, senior directors, consultants and HR professionals.

Successful candidates are eligible to apply for full membership of the Institute (MInstLM). WWL is one of the first centres in the country to offer this full accreditation.

Certificate

The certificate is designed for those who recognise the benefits of using coaching techiques at work as a means of enhancing their senior leadership of the organisation.

  • Institute of Leadership and Management accredited to Level 7
  • 7 day non-residential programme run over 20 weeks
  • 1:1 tutor support including pre, mid and post programme contact

Candidates will be entered for the ILM Certificate in Leadership Mentoring and Executive Coaching on submission of a portfolio of evidence including a practical Work Based Assignment.

Diploma

The Diploma is primarily designed for those wishing to become professional coaches. It is an extension of the certificate programme which builds on the knowledege gained and introduces the concept of coaching supervision. An extended period of supervised coaching practice is required which will take approximately 16 months to complete.

  • Institute of Leadership and Management accredited to Level 7
  • 3 days (4 workshops) non-residential workshops
  • 6 personal tutorials including 1:1 supervision of coaching practice
  • programme runs over 16 months and requires at minumum of 64 practice sessions.
  • 1:1 tutor support including pre and post programme contact

Candidates will be entered for the ILM Diploma in Leadership Mentoring and Executive Coaching on submission of a portfolio of evidence including a practical Work Based Assignment (WBA).

The Certificate Programme

The programme is intensive and experiential and requires practice and reading outside the formal tutorial workshops. Participants will share experience and benefit from networking and peer support in addition to personal tutor support from the programme leaders. We use 'real play' not role play - participants bring real work problems with them and find solutions to them during the programme using the skills and knowledge gained and shared. You will experience intensive learning in a high energy and fun environment! Participating will allow you to:

The programme is intensive and experiential, and requires extensive practice and reading outside the formal tutorial workshops. Participants will share experience and benefit from networking and peer support in addition to personal tutor support from the programme leaders. Throughout the programme participants will have the benefit of both 1:1 personal supervision of their coaching practice and the opportunity to take part in group supervisions. A minimum of 64 practice coaching sessions are required.
