ILM Level 7 Certificate and Diploma qualifications in Leadership
Mentoring and Executive Coaching
Walking with Leaders is pleased to announce the launch of
our new Level 7 Certificate and Diploma qualifications in Leadership
Mentoring and Executive Coaching accredited by the Institute
of Leadership and Management.
For the first time busy senior leaders are able to gain a nationally
recognised Level 7 (Masters Level) Certificate and Diploma and experience
the power of coaching in the context of their day to day leadership
without taking long periods away from the desk. Full ILM accreditation
means that you can be sure that this is a quality programme which
really will deliver.
Certificate programmes run over 7 days at Bix Manor near
Henley-on-Thames and have been designed to enable leaders in today's
high pressure work environment to make every conversation count.
The programme is intensive and experiential and in addition to the
workshops will require coaching practice at work.
Diploma programmes require an extended period of coaching
practice, over about 16 months, with advanced workshops and coaching
supervision throughout the period. The new Diplomas are ideally
suited to those who wish to gain a qualification to enable them
to become professional coaches. Candidates wishing to register for
the Diploma must have completed the Level 7 Certificate in Coaching
or demonstrate they have an equivalent level qualification, such
as the EMCC Practitioner Level award. Please contact
us if you are in any doubt .
Successful candidates are eligible to apply for full membership
of the Institute (MInstLM). Walking with Leaders is one of
only a few centres in the country to offer this full accreditation.
Walking with Leaders is accredited by the Institute of Leadership
and Management which is your quality guarantee.

introduction to executive coaching then consider our
Level 3 accredited programmes or the one-day Introduction

The Programmes
The programmes are intensive and experiential and require practice
and reading outside the formal tutorial workshops. Participants
will share experience and benefit from networking and peer support
in addition to personal tutor support from the programme leaders.
We use 'real play' not role play - participants bring real work
problems with them and find solutions to them during the programme
using the skills and knowledge gained and shared. You will experience
intensive learning in a high energy and fun environment! Participating
will allow you to:
- Learn to use advanced coaching and mentoring skills to release
potential and build capacity in your organisation
- Initiate and manage successful change
- Explore how to develop leadership capability in today's fast
paced workplace
- Develop a supportive culture of performance-oriented conversation
- Step back from problems and find practical solutions
- Increase your personal effectiveness

Both programmes are led by Margaret Lloyd and Sheridan Maguire
who both have extensive experience as leaders in the public, private
and voluntary sectors and who now work as executive coaches and
programme tutors.
